The former St. Andrew the Apostle Church.Come out this Saturday, June 20, at 11:00 AM (weather permitting) for the Jamaica Plain Historical Society's Woodbourne tour. Running south of Walk Hill street, the Woodbourne area was home to wealthy lawyers and businessmen in the 1800s. The family estates gave way to residental development, including an experimental housing project built by the Boston Dwelling House Company.
The tour starts in front of the former St. Andrew's church on Walk Hill street. And as usual, the price is right (free!).
