This house looked familiar, but I have to confess that I had to put some concentrated brain power to work to figure out where I had seen it. . It's still around, so where is it? No cheating if you know already.

is it on greenough ave?
ReplyDeleteYes it is - at the corner of Storey place. It's painted white now.
ReplyDeleteLooks like the house on the corner of Adelaide and Spring Park
ReplyDeleteThe house on Spring Park ave. you're referring to is the Kinraide house - read the story here:

You refer to the Storey place. I am writing a piece of fiction about a mansion we lived in (quasi hippies) in 1970 that the Storeys supposedly lived in -- Victorian, at 226 Perkins I believe. There was also the castle on the property, as well as a place with white columns. They then were turned into condos.
ReplyDeleteThis house is not the same house where we lived. Can you clarify the Storey family piece?
Thanks.
Sounds like a good story!
